Come Thou fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount, I’m fixed upon it
Mount of Thy redeeming love
Here I raise my Ebenezer
Here by Thy great help I’ve come
And I hope by Thy good pleasure
Safely to arrive at home
Jesus sought me when a stranger
Wandering from the fold of God
He to rescue me from danger
Interposed His precious blood
Oh, to grace how great a debtor
Daily I’m constrained to be
Let Thy goodness like a fetter
Bind my wandering heart to Thee
Prone to wander, Lord I feel it
Prone to leave the God I love
Here’s my heart, oh take and seal it
Seal it for Thy courts above
Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing
John Wyeth & Robert Robinson
The Promise of the Holy Ghost, the precious gift as prophesied by Joel, given by the Father and Son. In every generation I believe there is a Pentecost, as we are seeing, to your children and your children’s children.
He is poured out and the praises of the Father and Son are shouted and break forth in His people. Those who are thirsty drink from God’s eternal fountain where every blessing flows from the river of God. The songs of praises to our God cannot be contained. Streams break forth in our hearts — it cannot be contained. The heart is freed from things of the earth and ascends into Heavenly places.
What is happening in this time is what Peter said in his generation: “This is that which Joel prophesied.” Repent, be baptized, and receive ye the Holy Ghost and save yourself from this corrupt generation. Let Your fountain fill us to overflowing and flaming tongues break forth.
Thank you Holy Ghost for taking our hearts and sealing for thy courts above. Thank you Jesus for your continual promise. Keeping your word that endures forever to every generation.
